Apricot, peach, with baked apple and mandarin notes, blended with soft brioche aromas. This wine is really well developed now, and is a great vintage to get stuck into early.
This is made with 100% of our Chardonnay Burgundy clone 95 grapes, giving a different more complex dimension to this sparkling wine. In Champagne with its higher altitude and subsequently cooler climate winemakers use different clones with more acidity. We have the benefit of being close to sea level and with a more diverse and unique terroir we are able to make use of clones that suit both still and sparkling wine production. You will be hard pushed to find another English Sparkling that offers such diversity of flavours and aromas.
This wine has been aged 4 years on lees.
